Our work in South Sudan
South Sudan is the youngest Nation in Africa gaining independence from Sudan on 9th, July 2011
This nation with over 12 million people has about 64 ethnic groups with Christians claiming 60.5% of that population.
Our mission is to translate and distribute the Holy Scriptures and encourage Bible reading as well as engaging in literacy and HIV AIDS and our vision is to equip the people of God with the word and love of God.
Some of the Bibles that we have been able to translate include the Shilluk Bible which was launched in 2013.
Ongoing translations include the Bible Translation project which began in 2013 and is expected to end in 2020.
The Mabaan Bible Translation which began in 2009, the Zande Bible Translation which began in 2010.
We would like to see all ethnic groups in South Sudan having a Bible in their own language.
This is a war torn country and we believe that the word of God can change lives and bring peace to South Sudan.
You can get involved in our Bible Projects by;
